On July 19, the Exhibitor Attraction and Investment Promotion Conference and Signing Ceremony for the First China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) was held in Chengdu, Sichuan. Zhang Shenfeng, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), attended the conference and delivered a speech.

Zhang Shenfeng stated that holding the CISCE serves as a shining example of implementing President Xi Jinping’s important initiative on keeping global industrial and supply chains stable and unimpeded. As the world’s first national-level exhibition with the supply chain as its theme, the CISCE has distinctive features in terms of its principle, approach and outcomes of holding exhibitions. It emphasizes the exchanges and cooperation among upstream, midstream and downstream enterprises, and will be presented in a completely new way that is interactive, experiential and immersive. Zhang said the CCPIT will give full play to the roles of the CISCE in four aspects, namely, trade promotion, investment cooperation, innovation agglomeration, and mutual learning, and make it a public good for the whole world that features win-win cooperation.

Twelve representative enterprises in the industry signed letters of intent for exhibition with the China International Exhibition Center Group Corporation (CIEC Group) on the spot. Persons in charge of related departments of the CCPIT, and representatives from relevant CCPIT sub-councils at the municipal level and enterprises in Sichuan attended the conference.
