Green Computer Standardization Working Group Meeting

The Green Computer Standardization Working Group of the Standardization Committee of the Chinese Institute of Electronics was established in April this year. Under the dual carbon goal, the practice is inseparable from the improvement of the green industrial chain and supply chain, and cooperation between the upstream and downstream of the industry. In order to improve the green supply chain and cooperation with the upstream and downstream of the industry, the Green Computer Standardization Working Group has continued to carry out the development, application and promotion of standards such as the whole life cycle of green computers and related classification, evaluation and certification, and actively promoted the innovation and development of low-carbon and energy-saving technologies and industry applications in the computer industry. The Green Computer Working Group currently has three green computer standards under development, among which the draft standards for recyclable PCBs and high energy-efficient power supplies have been completed. At this meeting, the Green Computer Standardization Working Group will focus on the draft of the overall evaluation criteria for green computers, with a view to reaching a broad industry consensus to launch this standard as soon as possible.
