The Second China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) launched a roadshow in Astana on March 15, 2024 during the visit of the Chinese business delegation led by Zhang Shaogang, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), to Kazakhstan. In his speech, Mr. Zhang Shaogang highlighted the importance of the CISCE in his speech, and the delegate of China International Exhibition Center Group Limited (CIEC) delivered a detailed introduction of the Second CISCE to the audience. The roadshow was co-sponsored by the CCPIT and the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan "Atameken" and organized by Kazakhstan General Chamber of Commerce in China. Nearly 120 Chinese and Kazakhstani entrepreneurs attended the roadshow.

The second CISCE, scheduled for November 26-30, 2024, will focus on the "advanced manufacturing chain" in addition to supply chains of smart vehicle, green agriculture, clean energy, digital technology and healthy life, together with supply chain services, so as to focus on new quality productivity and showcase the industrial chains in the global advanced manufacturing field.

During the roadshow, QazTrade and the CIEC signed a memorandum of cooperation for the second CISCE. The guests exhibited keen interest in participation and expressed anticipation for the "win-win chain" of international cooperation through the CISCE platform.
