From the issuance of theOutline of the Healthy China 2030 Plan by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council to the pivotal decision-making efforts aimed at implementing the Healthy China strategy at the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party, and from the issuance of theOpinions on Implementing the Healthy China Action by the State Council to the explicit statement in the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of “give strategic priority to ensuring the people’s health and improve policies on promoting public health”...as an important symbol of national prosperity and the country's strength, people’s health has consistently remained a paramount concern for both the Party and the nation.

From November 28 to December 2 this year, the Healthy Life Chain will be a prominent component among the five major chains at the inaugural China International Supply Chain Expo. It will spotlight products and technologies in pivotal segments of the healthcare industry chain, including traditional Chinese medicine and healthcare, alongside traditional characteristic industries. The exhibition will present a comprehensive health industry chain spanning the entire spectrum of human life stages, from birth to old age. This initiative aims to foster the convergence and advancement of various sectors within the public health domain. It represents a significant step in proactively promoting the realization of a Healthy China.

In response to this, Professor Fang Xiangming, Director of the Center for Health Economics and Policy Research at the College of Economics and Management, China Agricultural University, expressed in an interview with China Trade News that in recent years, health has emerged as a significant global concern. Healthy living, as a vital component of the healthcare industry, is intricately linked to people's daily lives. The inclusion of the Healthy Life Chain in the first CISCE serves not only to raise public health awareness but also to encourage individuals to prioritize personal health, preventive measures, lifelong health management, and cater to the diverse health needs of different demographic groups. In areas such as maternal and child health, personal nutrition and healthcare, and elderly health and care, it offers more precise health support to individuals.

According to Fang Xiangming, for the companies taking part in this "chain," the inaugural CISCE will serve as a gathering ground for professional buyers and a global audience. It offers a platform for these participating companies to present their newest products, cutting-edge technologies, and innovative solutions in the realm of healthy living.
