China International Exhibition Center Group Limited (CIEC) and the Federation of Automobile and Motorcycle Sports of China (CAMF) signed a strategic cooperation agreement Thursday during the fourth China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), aiming to boost motorsport industry collaboration and expand international exchanges.

Lin Shunjie, chairman of CIEC Group, and Zhang Tao, deputy secretary-general of CAMF, attended the signing ceremony. Zhao Ou, vice president of CIEC Group, and Hou Ying, deputy director of the CAMF Secretariat, signed on behalf of the two organizations.

CIEC is known for its exhibition management expertise and extensive industry resources, while CAMF has developed strong capabilities in motorsport event operations. Through this cooperation, the two sides aim to leverage their respective strengths to achieve complementary development.

According to the agreement, they will deepen cooperation in four areas: industrial collaboration, exhibition development, industry promotion and ecosystem building. The partnership aims to better integrate the exhibition economy with the automobile and motorcycle sports industry and foster a new model for coordinated industrial development.

Speaking with China.org.cn, Zhang said the partnership aims to strengthen the exhibition component of the motorsport industry and help Chinese motorsport projects expand overseas.

"We hope to bring more Chinese projects to the international stage and use the CISCE platform to connect with global industry partners," Zhang said.

He added that the motorsport industrial chain is vast and varied, with untapped potential to create new growth opportunities and contribute to the broader automotive economy.

Hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the fourth CISCE runs from June 22 to 26 in Beijing. The expo covers six major industry sectors — digital technology, advanced manufacturing, green agriculture, healthy life, smart vehicles and clean energy — along with a dedicated supply chain services area.
