The Shenzhen Exhibitor Attraction and Investment Promotion Conference and Signing Ceremony for the First China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) was held in Shenzhen on July 19. Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and Shenzhen municipal official Wang Shourui attended the conference and delivered speeches.
Ren Hongbin said that the hosting of the CISCE could build a brand-new platform of exchanges and cooperation for keeping global industrial and supply chains stable and unimpeded in the post-pandemic era, and contribute to building resilient global industrial and supply chains. As the world’s first national-level exhibition with the supply chain as its theme, the CISCE has distinctive features in terms of its principle, approach and outcomes of holding exhibitions. It emphasizes the exchanges and cooperation among enterprises in the upstream, midstream and downstream of supply chain and will be presented in a completely new way that is interactive, experiential and immersive. The CCPIT will work to turn the CISCE into a new platform for advancing high-standard opening up, a new practice for fostering a new pattern of development, a new action for building an open global economy, and a new window for building a human community with a shared future.
Wang Shourui noted that participating in the CISCE is of great significance for Shenzhen to promote openness and cooperation of industrial and supply chains, deeply involve themselves in the global industrial division of labor, and facilitate the building of a modern industrial system. All districts and departments should ensure high-quality work for Shenzhen’s participation in the CISCE on all fronts, increase efforts in mobilizing and organizing, recommend representative enterprises to attend the exhibition and provide them with follow-up services. Active Efforts should be made to organize delegations to visit the exhibition to help enterprises to seize opportunities, explore markets and promote innovative development.
More than 20 representative enterprises signed contracts with the China International Exhibition Center Group Corporation (CIEC Group) on site. Attendees included persons in charge of related departments of the CCPIT, leaders from the CCPIT Guangdong Committee, responsible officials from competent authorities and district-level governments of Shenzhen, as well as representatives of relevant enterprises.
