CCPIT Delegation Visits France and Holds CISCE Roadshow

From July 3 to 5, a delegation led by Chairman Zhang Shenfeng of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) visited France. They visited the France-China Committee, the Paris Ile-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other institutions and had in-depth discussions on institutionalizing bilateral exchanges and deepening economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
During their stay in France, a roadshow for the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) was held. Zhang Shenfeng, Secretary-General of the France-China Committee Sybille Dubois-Fontaine Turner, and CEO Philippe Pasquet and Director Frans Roussin Montpell of GL events Exhibitions delivered speeches. Shen Xiang, Minister of Economic and Commercial Affairs of the Chinese Embassy in France, attended the event. Thirty representatives of renowned French enterprises from TotalEnergies, Carrefour, Adisseo, Societe Generale, AXA, etc. attended the event. The participating representatives of the business community expressed their great expectations for the world’s first high-profile exhibition with a distinctive theme of supply chain that meets the trend of the times. They said that the French enterprises would actively participate in the CISCE to further expand the economic and trade cooperation between China and France, to share the dividends of China’s development, and to jointly keep the global industrial and supply chains safe and stable.
The delegation also visited the Chinese Embassy in France, held talks with Chinese enterprises in France, conducted inspections on the 27th China Textile and Apparel Trade Fair (Paris) and made an investigation on the Bolloré Logistics Group.
