Transportation serves as a vital artery of economic development and a key pillar ensuring people's well-being. The smart transportation industry, deeply integrated with cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, new energy, big data, and cloud computing, connects the entire industrial chain including vehicle manufacturing, smart mobility, energy supply, and infrastructure development, and has become a core arena for global industrial upgrading and technological innovation. China is fully advancing the development of a smart transportation system, accelerating the large-scale application of technologies including autonomous driving, vehicle-road-cloud integration, and green power. It is committed to building a safe, efficient, low-carbon, and smart modern transportation ecosystem, and actively leading collaborative innovation and open cooperation in the global smart transportation industrial chain.

With the theme "Steering Toward a New Era of Smart Transportation", the Smart Transportation Thematic Event at the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo brings together representatives of government departments, international organizations, industry associations, leading Chinese and foreign enterprises, and authoritative experts to build a communication and cooperation platform for the entire smart transportation industrial chain. Focusing on two core directions: AI-enabled intelligent driving upgrade and new energy-driven green transportation transformation, the event interprets industrial policies, shares technological achievements, discusses development challenges, and explores cooperation pathways. It promotes the deep integration of smart transportation technological innovation and industrial application, helps optimize the global smart transportation supply chain ecosystem, facilitates the coordinated development of upstream and downstream industries, and injects strong impetus into the smart and green transformation of the transportation sector and the connectivity of global supply chains.
