On May 6, 2023, iFLYTEK's large language model (LLM), iFLYTEK SPARK, officially released. On October 24，2024, iFLYTEK released its iFLYTEK SPARK 4.0 Turbo which is open to the public. Trained on "Feixing-1", iFLYTEK SPARK 4.0 Turbo compares favorably with GPT-4 Turbo in seven foundational capabilities in Chinese language scenarios and exceeds GPT-4o in coding and methematical capabilities, as real data back-to-back testing demonstrates. At the same time, the new China-built intelligent computing platform "Feixing-2" was launched. In January 2025, iFLYTEK SPARK X1, the industry's first deep reasoning large model trained on a home-grown computing platform, was officially released. The foundation of iFLYTEK SPARK 4.0 Turbo was upgraded, and the industry's first hybrid-domain knowledge search technology was launched. The industry's first large model with end-to-end speech-to-speech simultaneous interpreting ability, the Spark Speech Simultaneous Interpretation Large Language Model was released. iFLYTEK SPARK continuously empowers thousands of industries. In April 2025, iFLYTEK SPARK X1 underwent another upgrade. Despite having an order of magnitude fewer model parameters than industry counterparts, its general tasks such as mathematical skills, coding skills, logical reasoning, text generation, language understanding, and knowledge question answering (KQA), were fully aligned with DeepSeek R1 and OpenAI o1. By incorporating more complex data types from diverse scenarios, the model's generalization capability has improved, further consolidating its leadership in key sectors such as education, healthcare, and justice.
