On the tenth anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative and the establishment of China's Pilot Free Trade Zone, the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the State Council have approved the establishment of the Xinjiang Pilot Free Trade Zone, reflecting the high regard and full recognition for the open development of Xinjiang. In recent years, Xinjiang, in line with its industrial advantages, has been focusing on building a modern industrial system with Xinjiang characteristics, supported by the "eight major industries" clusters such as oil and gas production and processing, green mining, new energy and new materials, cotton textile, etc. This is promoting high-quality economic development, and Xinjiang's unique resource endowment advantages are being transformed into economic and development advantages.
Through the platform of the first China International Supply Chain Expo, the "Connecting the World, Facilitating Supply and Demand: Introduction of Xinjiang's Eight Major Industries" promotion will be held. This event will promote the China (Xinjiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone, introduce Xinjiang's key industrial chain development plans, promote Xinjiang's business environment and investment attraction policies, and promote international cooperation in the supply chain industries of Xinjiang's eight major industries,which will help strengthen, supplement, and extend the chains of Xinjiang's eight major industries.
