Preparations for the fifth China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) are in full swing, with a focus on emerging industries, industry collaboration, and artificial intelligence applications, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Spokesperson Wang Wenshuai said at a regular press conference.

The expo will further optimize the presentation of its six major supply chain sections and one exhibition area, highlighting the integration of technological and industrial innovation.
The green agriculture chain will be upgraded to the modern agriculture chain, showcasing advances in modern seed breeding, smart farming, intelligent equipment, and future agriculture. The smart vehicle chain will become the smart mobility chain, covering materials, chips, vehicle manufacturing, charging and battery swapping, and mobility services for intelligent connected new energy vehicles.
The fifth CISCE will also strengthen exchanges among enterprises, universities, research institutes, and technology transfer institutions through its innovation chain exhibition area, “CISCE Launch Station,” and themed events, promoting the commercialization of new technologies and products.
In November, the CCPIT will hold the expo's first domestic industry matchmaking event in Chengdu, Sichuan province. Dozens of Chinese and foreign exhibitors will engage with local government departments and enterprises in industrial exchanges, supply-demand matchmaking, and international cooperation in digital and intelligent technologies.
Building on the AI exhibition zone introduced at the previous edition, the fifth CISCE will expand its coverage of artificial intelligence, showcasing its integration with advanced manufacturing, smart mobility, and health and lifestyle industries to accelerate the application of AI in manufacturing.
"Preparations for the fifth CISCE are now fully underway," Wang said, adding that the expo will continue to promote trade, investment, innovation, and international exchanges, supporting industrial innovation, the application of emerging technologies, and the digital transformation of enterprises.
