Beijing Exhibition Center Customs under Beijing Customs completed the registration and customs clearance for the first batch of inbound exhibits for the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) on June 5. This included two 1:20 scale models from Airbus and promotional materials, which were efficiently cleared via "integrated customs clearance" and "ATA carnet" methods.

In the first five months of this year, customs nationwide processed 12,053 ATA carnets, marking an 11.71% increase compared to last year. Beijing Customs contributed significantly by handling 2,076 carnets, up 17.04%.
To ensure smooth customs clearance for this year's CISCE, Beijing Customs has introduced 14 facilitation measures. It has retained existing policies including guarantee exemptions, dedicated lanes for exhibition goods and streamlined inspection procedures. New provisions permit on-site sampling of eligible pre-packaged food and cosmetics. Besides, qualified consumable exhibits are exempt from customs duties, import VAT and consumption tax.
Zhang Lan, chairman of China International Exhibition Transportation Co., Ltd., noted that customs policies for the CISCE have continually improved. Measures like guarantee exemptions and digital supervision enhance clearance speed, while new tax breaks for consumable exhibits significantly reduce costs for exhibitors.
Scheduled for June 22 to 26 at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Venue), the 4th CISCE will feature six major supply chains and one supply chain service area. Currently, 676 companies from 85 countries and regions have confirmed their participation, with over 65% representing Fortune Global 500 and industry leaders.
