On May 29, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) held a regular press conference. At the event, Wang Yifei, spokesperson for the CCPIT, explained that the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) differs from traditional expositions through its emphasis on "chain" thinking and supply chain collaboration orientation. She added that the CISCE promotes targeted matchmaking and cooperative partnerships among various entities, including upstream and downstream enterprises, research institutions, financial services providers and logistics service providers.

Wang noted that, thanks to the active efforts of the CCPIT, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has incorporated the innovative exhibition model pioneered by the CISCE — namely, "establishing connections and cooperation with potential business partners in the supply chain" — into the global definition of "exhibition." The move marks a significant milestone, as the CISCE's innovative concepts and operational model have evolved from a Chinese practice into a global standard.

The fourth edition of the CISCE will be held from June 22-26 at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Venue) in Beijing. Continuing to adopt a full-industry-chain perspective as its core, the event will feature six major chains — Digital Technology Chain, Advanced Manufacturing Chain, Green Agriculture Chain, Healthy Life Chain, Smart Vehicle Chain and Clean Energy Chain — along with a dedicated Supply Chain Services Area.
