China, Costa Rica seek cooperation in medical equipment

The roadshow for the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) was recently held in San José, Costa Rica. Organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the Costa Rican Foreign Trade Promoter (PROCOMER), the event focused on the medical equipment industry, attracting over 50 representatives from both countries.

Yu Shanjun, counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Costa Rica, emphasized China's commitment to expanding high-level opening up and sharing development opportunities with the world. He highlighted that the economic cooperation between China and Costa Rica has been fruitful and full of potential, inviting companies to attend the upcoming CISCE to explore the Chinese market.
José Manuel Salazar-Xirinachs, president of PROCOMER, noted the strong economic ties between the two countries, stating that Asia is the fastest-growing region for Costa Rican exports, with China playing a significant role.
The CCPIT highlighted the abundant opportunities for cooperation in the medical equipment supply chain and invited Costa Rican representatives to participate in the upcoming expo.
