The artificial intelligence will be a highlight of the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), said Wang Guannan, CCPIT spokesperson, during the regular press conference held on March 31, when detailing the expo's role in fostering emerging industries and deepening "AI+" initiatives.

Wang highlighted that AI is a major driver of technological and industrial transformation. This year's expo will feature a dedicated AI section within the digital technology chain, attracting leading global AI companies. Attendees will explore the entire AI ecosystem, including data, computing power, and applications.

Wang also cited a recent CCPIT industrial connection event in Hangzhou, which attracted over 150 companies focused on AI and robotics. Notably, 34 Zhejiang companies signed up to exhibit at the upcoming CISCE, with nearly 80% involved in AI.

Additionally, a special chapter on global AI supply chain will be included in the "Global Supply Chain Report 2026," providing insights into comparative advantages and company layouts worldwide. CPPIT is also launching an "Industry Frontiers Lectures" series to enhance capabilities in emerging industries, said Wang.
