Promotion conference for 4th CISCE held in Casablanca

The China-Morocco Business Forum and Promotion Conference for the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) was successfully held on Feb. 6 in Casablanca, Morocco. Over 100 representatives from Chinese and Moroccan business communities gathered to explore new opportunities for bilateral economic and trade cooperation.

Ren Hongbin, chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), led a delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs to the event and delivered a speech. Noting that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the China-Morocco strategic partnership, he said that under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, bilateral mutual trust has been continuously strengthened and practical cooperation has yielded remarkable results.
Ren emphasized that the CCPIT has long been committed to promoting exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and Moroccan business communities. He added that it stands ready to work with the Moroccan side to encourage enterprises from both countries to consolidate the foundation of cooperation in traditional fields, cultivate new growth points in emerging areas such as new energy, digital economy and green development, and help elevate China-Morocco economic and trade relations to a new level. He also welcomed active participation from all sectors of Morocco in the 4th CISCE.
Chakib Alj, president of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), and Mehdi Laraki, president of the Morocco-China Business Council, also addressed the event. Moroccan business representatives attending the conference fully affirmed the opportunities presented by the Chinese market and expressed their strong interest in deepening industrial and supply chain coordination with China to jointly build an efficient and stable supply chain cooperation network.
During the event, the CCPIT and CGEM signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The China International Exhibition Group (CIEC) held a special presentation on the 4th CISCE and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Morocco-China Business Council.
