Xie Guoxiang, minister-counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Switzerland, emphasized in his speech that the CISCE is a key platform for international industrial and supply chain cooperation. He noted that Shanxi province, a major energy base, is accelerating its energy revolution and welcomes Swiss businesses for investment and collaboration.
Jiao Yufeng from the CCPIT Shanxi sub-council explained that the promotion aims to enhance mutual understanding of trade advantages and business environments between Chinese and Swiss firms, thereby fostering cooperation.
SCCC Peng Xiaolai highlighted that Shanxi's strong industrial base and commitment to green transformation align well with Swiss expertise in advanced technology, clean tech, environmental engineering, life sciences, equipment manufacturing, and financial services.
One representative from a Swiss company mentioned that they have over 20 laboratories in China and recently decided to establish a factory there, integrating into the global supply chain. He added that collaborating with China, which boasts a world-class supply chain network and top talent, is becoming increasingly popular.
