Panasonic showcased its capabilities in stable supply chains, industrial automation, innovative technologies, and safety and security at the healthy life chain section of the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) for the second time.

This year, Panasonic expanded its booth size, featuring two main exhibition areas: living spaces and public spaces, presenting cutting-edge technologies and innovative concepts from home living to urban spaces.

Tetsuro Homma, executive vice president and chief executive for China & Northeast Asia of Panasonic Holdings Corporation, told China.org.cn that he was impressed by the strong presence of American and Japanese companies at the event despite ongoing global economic instability.

According to Homma, Panasonic has over 6,000 suppliers in China and has established a trading company in Shanghai to source components for delivery to its factories worldwide.

The Japanese eletronics giant's global business operations center for rail transit platform door is located in China, handling research and development, and manufacturing.

"With the growth our operations in China and the stability of its supply chain, I believe more global business centers will move to China," Homma stated.

China's stable and flexible industrial supply chain is increasingly attractive to foreign investment. Panasonic plans to continue investing in China, optimizing its supply chain layout, and enhancing its supply capabilities.

The company also aims to leverage the expo to deepen cooperation with Chinese partners for mutual benefit, promoting supply chain innovation and upgrades, clustering resources, and empowering global development.
