Beijing Customs has announced 14 new measures to facilitate the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE).

Key initiatives include the establishment of a permanent customs agency at the exhibition center to provide on-site support. Customs staff will be deployed to assist with clearance, supervision, and consulting services throughout the event. Exhibitors will benefit from exemptions on guarantee submissions and reduced inspection requirements for certain items.

To expedite customs processes, dedicated channels for exhibition item clearance will be set up at major ports, ensuring priority handling of declarations and inspections. Additionally, the approval times for quarantine matters related to specific goods will be shortened to three working days.

The measures also include simplified entry procedures for food and cosmetics, and streamlined processes for special goods. These initiatives aim to enhance efficiency and improve the overall experience for participants at the upcoming expo.

The third CISCE, scheduled on July 16-20 in Beijing, is expected to focus on supply chains of advanced manufacturing, clean energy, smart vehicles, digital technology, healthy life and green agriculture.
