3rd CISCE Cuba promotion event held in Havana

The third China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) Cuba promotion event was held in Havana on April 3. Chen Jian'an, vice chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Rivas, vice minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment of Cuba; and Zhang Buxin, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Chinese Embassy in Cuba, attended the event.
Chen Jian'an stated that China and Cuba have carried out cooperation in various fields over the years, including infrastructure, biotechnology, and renewable energy. The CCPIT has always been committed to promoting China-Cuba economic and trade relations, and stands ready to work together with the Cuban business community to expand trade exchanges and strengthen cooperation in industrial and supply chains. He welcomed the active participation of Cuban business community in the third CISCE to meet excellent partners, explore cooperation opportunities, and jointly elevate bilateral relations to new heights.
Rivas said that Cuba welcomes more Chinese enterprises to invest and establish factories and is willing to provide favorable conditions to further deepen bilateral economic and trade relations. Cuba appreciates China's open attitude, values the opportunities China presented, and will actively facilitate Cuban enterprises to participate in the third CISCE.
