The participants discussed the prospects for global business and rule of law cooperation and issued the following declaration:
I. Improving the global governance system and jointly building an open economic pattern. We call on all countries to uphold the approach to global governance based on extensive consultation, joint contribution, and shared benefits. We should embrace genuine multilateralism and firmly safeguard the authority and effectiveness of the multilateral trading system with the World Trade Organization (WTO) at its core. We call for an equitable and orderly multipolar world and a universally beneficial and inclusive economic globalization. We should join hands together to address various risks and challenges and promote the construction of a global open economy.
II. Optimizing the global business environment and promoting shared development worldwide. We call on all countries to work together to implement the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Global Development Initiative. We should continuously enhance the levels of trade and investment liberalization and facilitation, ensuring the security, stability, and smooth operation of industrial and supply chains. By doing so, we aim to create a fair, transparent, stable, and predictable business environment, driving stronger, greener, and more robust global development.
III. Strengthening the guarantee role of the rule of law and unlocking momentum for industrial innovation. We call on all countries to leverage the power of the rule of law to promote innovative development, comprehensively optimize and improve the innovation ecosystem, enhance the protection of intellectual property rights, and support enterprises in expanding new development opportunities and driving industrial upgrades through new technologies and concepts. In doing so, we aim to create an institutional environment conducive to the development of new forms and modes of business, with innovation as a driver for global economic growth.
IV. Deepening global legal and business exchanges and expanding international cooperation. We call on all countries to continuously strengthen multilateral and bilateral dialogues on the rule of law and make effective use of high-level international exchange platforms, such as the Global Business and Law Conference, to deepen mutual learning and exchanges between the business and legal communities. By doing so, we aim to broaden and deepen commercial and legal cooperation, improve diversified mechanisms for the prevention and resolution of international commercial disputes, and increase the resilience and vitality of international economic and trade cooperation.
V. Building global consensus for a better future. We call on all parties to uphold the principles of openness, inclusiveness, and mutual benefits, gathering global strength and resources to tackle development challenges. On the journey of modernization, we should work hand in hand towards a bright future of peace, security, prosperity and progress. Together, we will compose a new chapter in building a community with a shared future for mankind.
