Companies from northwestern China's Shaanxi province signed up for the second China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) at a roadshow in Xi’an, the capital city of Shaanxi, on Tuesday.

Ren Hongbin, chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and Chen Chunjiang, vice governor of Shaanxi province, attended the roadshow.

They discussed industrial and technological innovation, overseas market expansion, and expo preparation with the participating companies. They also visited local firms. 

Ten Shaanxi-based enterprises from the clean energy, green agriculture and advanced manufacturing sectors signed agreements to join the expo. These include Ge Medical Systems China Co. Ltd., Shaanxi Blower (Group) Co., Ltd., and Envision Group.

The companies expressed optimism that the expo will serve as a platform for global partnerships, enhancing market influence and driving economic growth through mutual benefits.

The second CISCE is scheduled to be held in Beijing from Nov. 26 to 30. The expo will feature six supply chain areas, including advanced manufacturing, smart vehicles, green agriculture, clean energy, digital technology, and healthy life, as well as a dedicated exhibition zone for supply chain services.

Nearly 500 enterprises have confirmed their attendance at the Expo, with more than 30 percent being foreign-funded.
