From January 28 to February 6, a delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs headed by Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC), visited Malaysia, Singapore and Japan. The delegation included members from CCPIT’s relevant departments, heads of its local and industrial sub-councils, and representatives from domestic enterprises, totaling about 180 people. It is the first large-scale delegation of Chinese enterprises sent for bilateral exchanges this year. The CCPIT will establish a working mechanism for mutual visits and cooperation with the relevant countries, organize Chinese enterprises to carry out institutional economic and trade exchanges with their foreign counterparts and help them actively expand overseas markets.
The delegation received a warm welcome from the political and business circles of the countries visited, and had extensive and in-depth exchanges with all relevant parties. It involved itself in more than 100 economic and trade activities of diverse types, either as an organizer or as a participant, and signed nearly 50 memorandums of understanding on cooperation and intentional cooperation agreements. During visits, the delegation also highlighted the second China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), with multiple roadshows held. The China International Exhibition Center Group Limited, the organizer of the CISCE, signed letters of intent for participation with relevant enterprises.
