WHY CISCE

Nowadays a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial innovation are developing in depth, and the global economic structure is being profoundly adjusted. Even so, headwinds blow in the face of economic globalization, and the impact is felt most strongly by global industrial and supply chains, for whom consolidating and strengthening cooperation is the common interest and urgent expectation of business communities everywhere. It was against this backdrop that the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) held the CISCE.

Themed “Connecting the World for a Shared Future,” the First CISCE took place in Beijing from November 28 to December 2, 2023. Chinese Premier Li Qiang attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech. As the world’s first national exhibition focusing on supply chains, the first CISCE successfully facilitated the connectivity between upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors, the merging of large, medium, and small enterprises, the coordination of industry, academia, research, and practical application, and the interaction between Chinese and foreign businesses. It accomplished four significant functions: promoting trade, fostering investment cooperation, aggregating innovation, and encouraging learning and exchange. The CISCE has emerged as a new window for promoting high levels of openness, a fresh platform for supporting the establishment of a new development paradigm, a novel medium for enhancing the construction of a global open economy, and a pioneering experiment embodying the concept of building a community with a shared future for mankind.

Overview

The Second CISCE, scheduled for November 26-30, 2024, will focus on six key supply chains: advanced manufacturing, clean energy, smart vehicle, digital technology, healthy life and green agriculture, together with supply chain services. Alongside these, it will feature special forums and various side events including investment promotion. supply-demand matchmaking and new product releases. Meanwhile, we are evaluating the possibility to add more supply chains, allowing companies from all over the globe to connect and establish broader “chains” at CISCE.

Supply Chains

Advanced Manufacturing: Showcase the entire industrial chain of global advanced manufacturing, ranging from front-end R&D and design, aplication of new materials and processing of key components to intelligent manufacturing.

Clean Energy: Showcase new technologies, products and trends in clean energy, promote complementary and integrated development of multiple energy sources, and contribute to the realization of low-carbon development goals.

Smart Vehicle: Showcase key technologies and products in the upstream, midstream and downstream of the smart vehicle industry, focus on innovative development of electrification, intelligence and networking, and enhance cooperation, cross-border integration and resource sharing.

Digital Technology: Showcase cutting-edge digital technologies, solutions and applications that empower different sectors, present key links and contents of the digital industry, and promote the deep integration and upgrading of the digital economy with the real economy.

Healthy life: Showcase key products, technologies and services in healthcare and lifestyle, including Traditional Chinese Medicine health care, promoting the integration and development of various fields in the healthcare industry.

Green Agriculture: Showcase the complete agricultural industry chain from "countryside" to "dining table" in five sections including green agricultural products, smart agriculture, planting and breeding, agricultural product processing, regional specialty agricultural products, and modern agricultural services.
